Positive Ventures

The Positive Ventures program provides job readiness, life-skills, and pre-employment training, and job placement specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS. Elmcor has provided employment training and placement services previously through our Career Pathways program that successfully achieved 95% of its work placement outcomes.  Building upon our prior success and holistic approach, we deliver confidential, comprehensive case management services (medical, housing family support) that contribute in sustaining long-term job retention.  Immigration services also provide access to education and career development training.  In delivering these services, Elmcor continues to advocate for policy and procedural changes that support and facilitates participant’s transition from dependence to self-sufficiency.
